We recently congratulated one of our customers, Dell, on their success for grabbing the Number 1 ranking in the Newsweek 2010 Green Rankings.  This is great for Dell as they moved from the second spot last year to the very top of the list this year.  And, it’s no real coincidence that Dell uses 1E’s products.  You can read the Dell Case Study to get a better idea of how 1E had a hand in improving Dell’s ranking.

Right after this, it became clear that another great customer of ours, CSC, also moved up the ranks this year.  Amazingly, CSC went from Number 380 ALL THE WAY UP to Number 77!  Congratulations, CSC!

Having deployed NightWatchman across an estate of nearly 50,000 PCs globally and seen a 40% reduction in PC energy consumption, CSC engaged with 1E on a NightWatchman Server Edition pilot across 86 servers in three data centers and four server rooms. The pilot found that 11% of servers were unproductive more than 75% of the time and 22% were wasting energy more than 85% of the time.
