We posted recently about how 1E adds additional capabilities to ConfigMgr 2007 R3, and that post provides a good, quick rundown of the additional features and functions you’ll receive by extending ConfigMgr 2007 R3 with 1E.  What’s important about the previous post, is that, while 1E knows about these bullet points, Microsoft is also aware of them, too (hence, the Microsoft deck slide in the previous post).
