1E Software Lifecycle Intelligence

Software Lifecycle Intelligence is a friction free, agentless tool that takes a snapshot of your business IT as it is today using your existing infrastructure to provide:

Windows Risk Audit Dashboard

  • Advising of your risk if you don’t have an application whitelist in place or checks your existing application whitelist against applications actually run to determine if improvements should be made to the existing policies.
  • Report the Windows administrators you have in your business that you may not be aware of

Software Waste Analysis Dashboard

  • Details 10 commonly deployed application software titles, subsequently showing those that are rarely or never used across the desktop estate.

*Additional Dashboards will be added over time to further enhance capability in areas such as Windows Upgrade Readiness, Managed Client Health, Windows Upgrade Readiness, Self Service Feasibility and many more.

1E Enforcement – Coming Soon

1E Enforcement tool allows for “required” ConfigMgr 2012 Application Deployments to be “selectively” enforced, maintaining the ability to remove the application if required in the future, without the administrative overhead of altering the targeting method via collection exclusions or membership query-rule.

What is 1E Enforcement?

Application Enforcement at the Application Level

  • Administrative category of “1Enforced”drives persistence for required deployments
  • Applications which are not set to be enforced may be delivered as Required without re-eval

PowerShell on the Backend

    • All scripted functions at the site level and client level leverage PowerShell automation
    • Code is completely open so administrators may tinker and ensure use case adaptability

Less Overhead at the Client level

    • Clients will leverage Configuration Baselines to drive enforcement
    • Ensures only core critical Deployments are enforced as opposed to all unattended Deployments

Designed utilizing existing and supported CM functionality

  • Built on PowerShell – Configuration items – Configuration Baselines
  • All Client interactions are leveraging existing WMI namespaces for CM deployment info
