1E Road Shows – Enterprise Solutions.

1E is running an exciting series of road shows in the US and UK. These exclusive events focus on Enterprise Solutions and provide organizations with a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insight into new and ‘green’ technologies. Attendees are able to discuss their technical and business challenges directly with 1E, their customers, Microsoft and industry experts. To date, four road shows have taken place with nearly 100 attendees in London, New York and Atlanta. The feedback rating from delegates has ranged from very good to excellent, demonstrating these events are welcomed and attendees have found the information highly valuable.

Delegates enjoy presentations from Sumir Karayi, 1E CEO, Microsoft, the Gartner Analyst Group and real life success stories from 1E customers. Limiting numbers to 20 – 25 attendees per session allows for interactive discussions to take place on the subjects of major IT challenges and ‘Go-Green’ challenges attendees face today.

The format of the events runs over two sessions - morning and afternoon. The morning session provides IT professionals with an opportunity to learn more about 1E solutions and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007. The afternoon session is open to both business and IT professionals, and focuses on 1E ‘Go-Green’ solutions and the overall return on investment (ROI) experienced by our existing customers.

IT Forum 2007, Barcelona, Spain

1E completed a successful and fun event at IT Forum in Barcelona, Spain, meeting many new and old faces at this exciting conference. As this was the official launch of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007, Data Protection Manager and Virtual Machine Manager, the delegate numbers were dramatically increased over last year's attendance, and it was clear that System Center is gaining significant momentum quickly.

The event started on Monday night with an opening reception for delegates and a presentation on 1E ‘Go Green’ software solutions made by Geoff Collins, 1E Solutions Engineer.

On Wednesday evening 1E hosted its renowned hospitality party, held at the Shoko Bar near the beach. Over 70 delegates enjoyed Tapas and special ‘Go Green’ NightWatchman Cocktails to celebrate the 1E energy-saving PC power management solution, which scooped the “Enterprise Software Product of the Year” at the CNET Awards in September. The party was also a superb peer networking evening for customers, 1E and Microsoft. Although the party ran until the very early hours of the morning, 1E was very grateful for all the delegates who stopped by the 1E stand on Thursday morning to thank us for a fun evening. Finally, 1E would like to thank Microsoft for coordinating a highly successful event, which attracted nearly 5,000 attendees. Roll on MMS scheduled for April/May, 2008 in Las Vegas!

2007 EE Global Conference, Washington, DC
1E joined a cross-section of "clean-tech" leaders in the public and private sector for three days of dialogue, policy debate and technology discussions at the 2007 EE Global Conference, the largest “green” energy gathering in Washington, DC, USA. 1E is a key member of the "clean-tech" advocacy group behind the conference, the Alliance to Save Energy.

1E CEO, Sumir Karayi, spoke to attendees about “the hidden cost of PC power” and the significant cost savings that can be achieved through PC power conservation. Mr. Karayi joined the event to help the ASE raise public and private sector awareness of the latest tools, technologies and incentives that can help organizations “Go-Green” at work and in the home. As part of a presentation with IBM, Sun and AMD, Sumir provided data on the annual CO2 emissions wasted by “always-on” PCs (14.4 million tons in the US alone), and showed how PC power management can be one of the simplest, fastest ways an organization can help alleviate climate change through reduced energy consumption.
