It likely won’t come as a surprise to hear that 1E, a world-leading organization at enhancing SCCM, has worked with many (if not most) of the world’s top SCCM experts. It’s probably no more of a surprise to hear that many (if not most) of these same experts write and run blogs that help enlighten and sometimes entertain the CM community. We wanted to select ten of our favorite ones to share with you. If you’re passionate about SCCM, and you’re not reading them already, then you should be!
It’s also important to note that some of these experts are also Microsoft MVPs and are supported via our 1E MVP Monday Program. If you’re an MVP and don’t know about it, learn more about it here!
Before we kick the list off, however, we would do well to doff our digital cap to Microsoft’s TechNet blog , the official Microsoft blog. TechNet is a particularly great place to come and chat, with plenty of Microsoft professionals on hand that are happy to reply to comments and questions.

This is an MVP-driven blog by Jörgen Nilsson, focusing all topics related to Enterprise Mobility and Windows. These posts typically display a great depth of technical expertise, along with great visuals, ranging from useful screenshots to point-by-point explanations. There’s a lively and engaging comment culture there too. Jörgen himself has over 20 years of experience in system management, with more than 10 Microsoft certifications to his name and almost 5K of very loyal Twitter followers. You could do worse than join their number!

Microsoft MVP Jason Sandys manages this blog, which he updates a couple of times a month. As the site’s title suggests, posts published here help enhance SCCM as a tool for any organization. The site is a rich source of other content too, however, including U++ and Client Startup tools, scripts and links to external articles. Jason has also contributed some of the most read series of posts to the 1E blog on OSD Frontends as part of the MVP Monday series.

CTglobal offers global consultancy and training for all kinds of organizations, helping them to optimize their investment in Microsoft SCCM. Kent Agerlund is a principal consultant at the company. He’s a Microsoft Regional Director, Enterprise Mobility MVP and a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Principal consultant to boot. Kent has over 300 technically oriented posts on the CTGlobal blog. Most of them focus on Configuration Manager functionality and updates. It’s a very active and comment-rich blog too. While Kent’s posts are certainly top notch, he is also a fantastic presenter and draws large crowds of techies (many of them readers) at every event he attends.

Mike Terrill is a Microsoft Enterprise Mobility MVP and an expert on Windows Systems Management and Operating System Deployment using Microsoft technologies. You will find a new post on Mike’s blog at least once a month, with many of the recent ones focusing on automating the transition from BIOS to UEFI. Mike was previously a Technical Architect at 1E and was closely involved in developing 1E products such as Nomad, as well as generating fantastic technical content including white papers, blogs, and some extremely successful webinars.

This gem is run by Nickolaj Andersen, Maurice Daly (Enterprise Mobility MVPs) and Terence Beggs. You will find a lot of content here on SCCM, but also on Powershell, Azure, Intune, Windows and more besides. In fact, the website includes contents from another blog started by Maurice and Terence called DeployEverything.com, which was merged into SCConfigMgr.com. In addition to many fantastic posts, the blog hosts a large library of useful CM admin tools. With three active contributors, you will find a new blog posted here almost daily.

Niall C. Brady has been made a Microsoft MVP seven times over. Niall’s blog focuses on a range of topics around Enterprise Mobility, but Configuration Manager is prominent in a high number of them. The blog’s archive goes back all the way to 2010 and you will find posts there ranging from, SCCM 2007 all the way up to the current branch. Niall also runs a sister site focused on Widows management, titled Windows Noob. This is more of a community portal, allowing visitors to participate in a forum and explore all things relate to Windows management and migration.

If you type “SCCM” in Google, Prajwal’s blog will come up in the first five results. In fact, this blog dominates Google on all things related to Configuration Manager. The site is run by Microsoft MVP Prajwal Desai. Not only does it have highly technical, insightful content, but it also boasts some really exceptional design. The blog includes many videos from Prajwal’s own YouTube channel, too, with guides and tips about the usage and installation of SCCM. There is also an active forum on the website with on-going chats on SCCM, operating systems, Exchange, Lync and Microsoft in general.

Authored by a `Microsoft focused infrastructure nerd’ (as Hayes Jupe calls himself) from Adelaide, Australia, this blog has plenty of detailed posts on SCCM, but also a refreshing number of lighter material, including memes, anecdotes and even a whole section on “evil people”. Despite the site’s very welcome light touch, though, Hayes is an indisputable Microsoft infrastructure expert with 20+ years’ experience. He runs his own successful consultancy specializing in AD, Exchange, Lync, TMG, SCCM, SCOM, SCVVM, HyperV and anything else that falls into the Microsoft infrastructure.

The blog has SCCM all over it! It is run by Eswar Koneti, a “Microsoft Community Contributor” for many years running. Eswar writes articles about SCCM Tools, SCCM Reports, PowerShell, Deployment and provides troubleshooting tips. He posts frequently and adds many screenshots and pictures to his articles. The site has good trainings/webcasts section too, with contents on SCCM 2007 and 2012.

Peter is one of the founders of the Windows Management User Group Netherlands (WMUG NL) and the chairman of the WMUG NL Foundation. The site gets couple new posts a month, but it also has a great community resources section with links to relevant CM tools, books, videos and other blogs.
