1E has created the OSD Plus Pack, an enhancement to the Microsoft SMS Operating System Deployment (OSD) Feature Pack to provide automation for OS deployments. The OSD Plus Pack enables workstations to be deployed to remote offices without the need for a local SMS server and makes OSD viable in server-less branch office scenarios.

OSD Plus Pack™ Components
OSD Branch		Provides bandwidth-efficient "download and execute" capabilities by integrating SMSNomad Branch and OSD. This revolutionises image distribution to branch offices where the OSD image is downloaded once over the WAN and then shared locally at the branch.
Local Multicast		Increases the scalability and speed of OSD Branch by using multicast to distribute the OSD image package in the branch network.
AppMigrator		Simple to implement, this enables the automatic reinstallation of the latest versions of applications which existed on a user's machine prior to migration. As a result, your users have the applications they need, and can be immediately operational after deployment
PXE Lite		The OSD Plus Pack includes a solution that delivers a local PXE server with the ability to deploy images to local “bare metal” machines. Using PXE Lite you can now assign workstations to act as designated PXE servers, making the whole solution efficient, flexible and low maintenance.
