Hello everyone. Following my post regarding our commitment to support relevant third party platforms within 90 days, I thought I’d write a note to update you all on the current state of 1E products as they relate to Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2.

AppClarity

AppClarity 4.0 & 4.5 will both offer full SCCM 2012 R2 support.

  • 4.0 is the mainstream released version. We are testing to confirm SCCM 2012 R2 support currently.
  • 4.5 has now released to support (RTS) and is gearing up towards full market launch (RTM) in the coming weeks. If you are considering upgrading – it might be worth waiting for 4.5 if you can as there’s lots in there (more on this in another post).

NightWatchman

NightWatchman (& WakeUp) 6.5.100 offer full Microsoft SCCM 2012 R2 support – This RTMed 20th December 2013.

Nomad

Nomad 5.2.100 offers full Microsoft SCCM 2012 R2 support. It has now Released to Support and will RTM on 14th January 2014.

Shopping

Shopping 5.0.1 will offer full SCCM 2012 R2 support and will be RTMed by 31st Jan 2014.
However, we recognize that because Shopping 5 has the exciting new UI, some of our customers happily on 4.7 will need to plan the migration a little more carefully than an incremental release. At the same time, we recognize the pressures to move to the latest Microsoft technologies. Therefore we have made the decision to extend support for SCCM 2012 R2 to Shopping 4.7 to help accommodate the transition. Testing on Shopping 4.7 will be complete by February 14th, though early indications suggest no breaking changes.
I hope this is clear and answers all of your questions – If not – please do reach out to the 1E Support Team.
