John Abbott, an analyst from 451 Research, has published a research note regarding Nomad 2012 entitled “1E extends its IT efficiency story to desktop migration with Nomad 2012 release”.
The article discusses the different approach 1E takes with OS migrations using Nomad 2012 of using 100% automation on 90% of platforms rather than the typical 90% of automation on 100% of platforms necessitating expensive desk-side visits to every PC.
It also discusses the method that Nomad 2012 uses to pull data across the WAN (Reverse QoS) and the other capabilities of Nomad 2012.
