Learn how we are bridging the SecOps divide with Tachyon

bridging the secops divide with tachyon

Sometimes you can’t understand issues to their fullest extent until you sit down with the people who are knee-deep in dealing with them.

Rob Peterscheck is Director of End User Computing at a major healthcare company. He knows the ins and outs of his IT estate, better than anyone and has seen the challenges of a divided SecOps team. He spoke to us about what digital transformation of a business really looks like.

One of the first things he mentions in the interview is data. Everyone’s concern is data.

Most importantly, data, even more so than any physical attribute, is what keeps a business alive.  Information, and how people get it, is the lifeblood of an organization. Peterscheck says that the ability to receive data about endpoints as quickly as possible is crucial.
Listen to how Tachyon is changing the game for Peterscheck and his organization:

He says being able to respond in seconds, get information, and react instantly are critically important to controlling any threat. Before deploying Tachyon, Peterscheck struggled to get information about the various endpoints. He said this is a common problem for most organizations. With expanding IT estates, the number of endpoints continues to grow. The wider the estate, the more vulnerable it becomes.

Knowing which endpoints have deployed what patches is vital. Then you understand where your attention needs to be and where you can apply the required fixes.

Remote workers tend to throw a kink in the system because most organizations don’t know whether or not those endpoints are secure. Using Tachyon, Peterscheck is given the real-time visibility required to make important decisions around his security strategy.
