This year’s Gartner ITAM summit takes place 11-12 September 2013, in London. 1E is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of this important industry event, and we will be present across both days with our own exhibition stand and speaker.
It’s a fact of life that the IT vendor community has had the upper hand for decades – and the result has been serious IT over-spend, under-use and avoidable waste.
1E helps IT departments fight back by identifying and removing the causes of overspend, so you can invest more in innovation and rise to the challenges of change.
Join us at exhibition stand PL12 on both days of the Summit to hear how all unused software has a cost, and see how you can remove, reclaim, and recycle unused software on PCs and Servers in a user-friendly way with 1E’s software licence optimization solution, AppClarity:
- Gives you clear and simple visibility of your entire software estate, across servers and PCs
- Financially quantifies the unnecessary costs of unused software
- Automates the removal process with an end user-friendly wizard.
The 1E team will be fully represented, from Executive Management to Product Managers, meaning you will have direct access to some of the world’s foremost experts in SLO solutions.
Not only that, but on the opening evening from our stand, we have a Sushi chef serving Japanese-inspired dishes, including classics such as sashimi and maki, with or without wasabi. So whether you love meat, fish or vegetables, spicy or sweet, come and tuck in.
Paul Parke, Director, Project Management and Development, will be addressing the Summit on the topic: Is Client-Hosted Virtualization the Alternative of VDI? Users want to access corporate applications on their own devices, often in remote locations. One solution is VDI. This often has excessive cost, infrastructure, and software licensing requirements. This talk will discuss the alternative to VDI of Client Hosted Virtualization solutions and the key issues to be considered.
You can catch Paul’s presentation on Thursday, September 12 at 9:45AM to 10:15am, in room Westminster B. For more information on the topic, click here.
We’re thoroughly looking forward to Gartner ITAM 2013, and we hope to see you there.
