Power Management market leader joins Dell ISV partner Program

London – 26 March 2009 – 1E today announced its participation in the Dell™ Independent Software Vendors (ISV) Partner Program for its NightWatchman Server product.

The Dell™ ISV Partner Program is focused on simplifying the management of disparate infrastructure platforms, applications, and IT services. As an ISV Basic Certified Partner, 1E helps to provide seamless integration of Dell OpenManage™ systems management functionality within NightWatchman Server to enhance the manageability of Dell platforms and optimize Dell Services.

Dell has validated this functionality and certifies that the implementation performs to Dell standards. 1E and Dell share a mutual commitment to deliver exceptional value to customers. Together we provide solutions that help transform the way customers deploy, utilize, and experience technology.

“We are delighted to be part of the Dell ISV Partner Program at its launch,” commented Sumir Karayi, CEO of 1E. “Dell is without a doubt one of the largest names in the IT world and this initiative demonstrates how they focus on the needs of the user, whether corporate or personal. As the market leader in power management in the workspace, we’re delighted to be involved in the program and provide our expertise and software alongside Dell.”

Designed to provide power management capabilities within the server environment, NightWatchman Server will enable users to gain a clear understanding of the usage patterns of the servers under their control and maximize these usage patterns to ensure that they are getting optimal use. Currently under version 1.0 and being trialed with a number of existing 1E customers, NightWatchman Server is scheduled to be launched to existing and potential customers later in the year.

Karayi continued, “We recently hit 12 million users globally of 1E software. Working closely with Dell will enable us to reach an even greater potential pool of customers, providing them with the ability to cut costs and reduce their carbon footprint within the server environment.”
