Veteran Technology Executive to Lead IT Efficiency Company’s Global Sales Programs

London & New York, November 29, 2012 – 1E, the global leader in IT efficiency software, today announced the appointment of David Rode as senior vice president worldwide sales.

A seasoned technology executive with a proven track record in field operations, sales, marketing and partner alliances, Rode will lead 1E’s international sales team and be responsible for the company’s direct sales program’s strategy and growth, prioritizing the proliferation of 1E’s IT efficiency solutions on a global scale.

“Organizations of all sizes are realizing how critical it is to make IT efficiency a top priority in 2013,” said Sumir Karayi, CEO of 1E. “David’s expertise leading highly successful global sales and marketing efforts at international software companies will prove integral to 1E’s mission to driving IT efficiency by identifying IT waste, removing it and optimizing what’s left.”

Prior to joining 1E, David served as the general manager of EMEA for Stockholm-based International Business Systems (IBS) where he led all field sales, marketing and services for the region. Under his leadership at Revistas, a leading revenue management software provider, where he served as executive vice president of global operations, the company turned around and achieved 40 percent compound annual growth.

“I am thrilled to be joining a company that pioneered the concept of IT efficiency and can deliver, rather than just talk about, proven and guaranteed Return on Investment (RoI).  Through its ActiveEfficiency approach, 1E will continue to be a driving force in creating innovative and effective ways for organizations to make measurable IT savings,” said David Rode, senior vice president worldwide sales, 1E. “I look forward helping drive the company’s mission to make Efficient IT a top priority in enterprises worldwide and empower them to optimize their IT environments.”

David’s leadership experience also includes Stockholm-based Intentia where, as the Chicago-based president, he drove the company’s expansion in the U.S, Canadian and Latin American markets. He also has deep experience in the business intelligence and enterprise integration markets, having spent five years running the international division of Information Builders, Inc. (IBI), a $300 million software company based in New York.
