1E introduces ActiveEfficiency, the world’s first IT efficiency platform at MMS. It also announces 1E Workspace, and the first ever 1E Academy Live – a new certification program for individuals who want to become experts in running efficient IT.
London and New York, April 3, 2013: 1E, the global leader in IT efficiency software, today announces its full program of events for the Microsoft Management Summit 2013 in Las Vegas.
Top of the agenda for today’s IT administrators are the ability to migrate from Windows XP and to use System Center 2012 to run IT as efficiently as possible. Additionally, with the number of mobile devices increasing dramatically, IT needs to implement successful Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiatives. They are also expected to do all this within their current budgets. However, spending money on VDI, Windows migrations and System Center upgrades can be prohibitive – 1E offers proven, less expensive and more efficient alternatives.
For 1E, a regular attendee at MMS for the past 13 years, this year looks set to be memorable:
Sunday April 7: It’s a SELL OUT: 150 delegates have signed up to attend 1E Academy Live led by Shaun Cassells, Troy Martin and Mike Terrill. This inaugural training session is for technical professionals who want to become IT efficiency experts and ActiveEfficiency Advanced Windows Migration certified professionals. “With the constant pressure on IT resources, expertise in IT efficiency will become an increasingly valuable skill. The 1E Academy is a new program for IT professionals and will become the center of excellence to enable them to enhance their skills with ActiveEfficiency certification which will in turn help them develop their careers around a shared IT efficiency vision,” says Sumir Karayi, CEO of 1E.
Monday April 8: As MMS opens its doors, 1E welcomes visitors to Booth 323. Under the theme of ActiveEfficiency, the world’s first IT efficiency platform, 1E invites MMS delegates to visit its stand for demonstrations and presentations of ActiveEfficiency in action as well as meet 1E experts in running IT efficiently who will be on hand to discuss System Center upgrades, Windows OS Deployments or any other aspect of Efficient IT.
Tuesday April 9, 4:30-5:45pm: Another SELL OUT: In the gold sponsor session entitled: Streamline your Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Infrastructure to make OSD Business as usual, Shaun Cassells will illustrate how 1E ActiveEfficiency solutions including Nomad 2012, Shopping and AppClarity can be used to automate some of the most complex systems management challenges – all while achieving the goal of “Business As Usual”. He demonstrates how to simplify your ConfigMgr 2012 design and dynamically identify and deploy applications during a Windows 7 deployment. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at 1E Workspace, a ground-breaking new virtual desktop solution costing a tenth of VDI.
Wednesday April 10, 5:00-6:15pm: New product launch and update for 1E customers and partners. 1E hosts an exclusive session for its customers and partners where they can hear the latest news about 1E’s strategy for IT efficiency, be amongst the first to see the 1E roadmap for 2013 and beyond as well as meet members of the 1E team.
