Company Deploys 1E NightWatchman to Reduce PC Power Consumption
London, UK – November 2008 – 1E (staging.1e.com), a leading provider of Windows management software and services, has been announced as the winner of the inaugural Green Supplier Award at Green IT Expo 2008, the UK's first free‐to‐attend event focusing on sustainable computing. Head of Global Sales at 1E, Jon McKellar, accepted the award from Richard Tribe, Managing Director of conference organiser Revolution Events, during the afternoon's keynote sessions on 5 th November.
"The award recognises 1E for its innovative range of products, in particular its NightWatchman software, which was seen to offer a great solution to the common issue of PCs and other peripherals being left switched on after office hours," says Tribe.
