Microsoft`s ISV/Software Solutions Partner of the Year 2010 to Recognize Systems Management Heroes, Invite IT Professionals to Share Best Practices, Host Multiple Technical Sessions and Preview Latest Innovation
LAS VEGAS (Microsoft Management Summit), Booth #109, March 21, 2011 – 1E, the global leader in IT efficiency software and Microsoft`s ISV/Software Solutions Partner of the Year 2010, will again dominate the efficiency discussion at Microsoft Management Summit (MMS) 2011 by leading a variety of sessions focused on empowering companies to create more efficient IT infrastructures through proven paths to cut costs.
Who: 1E, a software and services company that improves IT efficiency by identifying and reducing costs and waste in hardware, software, energy and time, has helped its 1,400 customers save more than $550M in energy costs alone, cutting CO2 emissions by 4.5 million tons. Executives from a major retailer, as well as CSC, Dell, Noble Drilling and Wells Fargo will join 1E`s systems management discussion.
What: During the “Heroes of Systems Management” session led by Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) MVP Ed Aldrich, 1E will recognize select individuals involved in the evolution of Windows systems management including Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager over the past decade. The discussion will focus on how each hero benefited from IT efficiencies in systems management, including operating system deployment (OSD). 1E will also provide a sneak peak of its next innovation, a product that will be formally launched later in Q2.
In addition, 1E will host a “Technical Deep Dive” to provide attendees with a hands-on look at challenges and efficiencies they can put into practice for operating system deployment (OSD) and Windows 7 deployments. Several real world customer implementations will also be covered. 1E will also host a variety of “Empowering Efficient IT” sessions at booth 109 on topics ranging from PC power management and data center efficiency to Windows 7 deployments and software license management.
