1E expands into France, establishes office in Paris and hires dedicated team to drive commercial growth locally
Paris, France, 22nd September 2011 – 1E, the global leader in Efficient IT solutions, today announced the appointment of Christian Laloy as Managing Director and Simon Glusman as Solutions Engineer of its French operations. The appointment marks 1E’s expansion into France and will help the company address the needs of local customers more effectively and efficiently.
With more than 16 years’ experience in the enterprise software industry, Laloy is a seasoned business development expert in the French market. He honed his expertise at companies such as Good Technology, where he launched the company’s French subsidiary, developed new business opportunities and drove the company’s channel sales programme locally. He also held Global Account Manager roles at Quest Software, Insight and Microsoft, where he worked with partners and integrators to build up key relationships with strategic accounts from the French CAC 40 and beyond.
Simon Glusman joins 1E as Solutions Engineer. He brings with him a decade of experience in building key customer relationships and working on large-scale deployments at an EMEA level and has a breadth of expertise in systems management, virtualization, data security and process management. Prior to joining 1E, Glusman worked as Technical Account Manager at LANDesk Software for over four years, and spent five years as Desktop Engineer at PagesJaunes.
