Fast Tracking Windows 10 Success in the NHS

With only 20 months to the end of Windows 7 support, every NHS IT organisation has to prioritise upgrading to Windows 10 as soon as possible. Last year’s WannaCry and (Not)Petya attacks made it very clear that the potential costs of not staying current with OS and application updates are astronomical. The painful upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 is still relatively fresh in the memories of many NHS IT admins, and they don’t want to go through that pain again.
A mass upgrade to Windows 10 looks like a daunting prospect for already over-worked IT teams. But the initial upgrade is only the start – the continual flow of Windows 10 updates look even scarier.
It doesn’t have to be that frightening. The good news is that there are more tools and more expertise available for the upgrade than was available at the last big upgrade.
In this webinar, Windows management experts from 1E and Microsoft will review the challenges facing NHS IT teams, look at some solutions for automating the upgrade at scale and some examples of success in real-world environments. You’ll leave with specific recommendations for how to deploy and manage Windows 10 at scale.
