In May 2017, the WannaCry virus entered the history books as one of the most destructive ransomware attacks of all time.

The attack targeted organizations running out-of-date versions of Windows: in 2017, it’s more important than ever that organizations #StayCurrent, and ensure that software is kept fully patched and up-to-date.

1E wanted to establish how much the #StayCurrent lesson had sunk in, as well as how much time was consumed taking measures to safeguard against WannaCry. To find out, we asked 400 US IT professionals about their experiences of the attack.
