Meet your MVPs

Nickolaj Andersen is a Principal Consultant and Enterprise Mobility MVP since 2016. Nickolaj has been in the IT industry for the past 10 years specializing in Enterprise Mobility and Security, Windows devices and deployments including automation. Currently working for Lumagate as a Principal Consultant for the past 3 years. Awarded as PowerShell Hero in 2015 by the community for his script and tools contributions. Author of ConfigMgr Prerequisites Tool, ConfigMgr OSD FrontEnd, ConfigMgr WebService to name a few.  He is a frequent speaker at conferences and user groups.
Mick Pletcher started out as a help desk tech at J.C. Bradford in 1999. From that point on, he moved to third level help desk. It was this position in which he got his first taste of scripting and automation. Most in IT know what it is like having tickets escalated to them and not knowing exactly what was done to resolve an issue. It was that very thing that prompted him to learn scripting and how to write automation scripts so that when a ticket was escalated, he knew exactly what had taken place. In 2005, he left that company and moved on to a management IT position. Mick did everything at that point. It was a one man job. He learned a lesson about being the only IT person. It is stressful, to say the least. Much of that position was not automated. He really got into automation big time there. At this point, he would be so bored in that position that he took up learning new skills, which lead him to building a computer build lab for system builds. It was this very thing that got him where he is today. He learned all about packaging files, creating a system build, scripting, automation, and VBScript. The skills he had learned in the previous job of packaging and scripting lead right into software deployments as a next step. In this position, he was still scripting with VBScript, but began slowly transitioning in 2011 to PowerShell. Finally, he was offered his current position also as an SCCM administrator. It has been very rewarding.
Maurice Daly has been working in the IT industry for the past 18 years. With a focus on active directory, group policies, Hyper-V, Windows deployment and Office 365, Maurice has been an MCSE since 2008 and was awarded Enterprise Mobility MVP in March 2017. Most recently his focus has been on automation of deployment tasks, creating and sharing PowerShell scripts and other content to help others streamline their deployment processes.
Shaun Cassells is a Microsoft MVP Windows Insider MVP and executive at Central Texas Systems Management User Group (CTSMUG). He really enjoys speaking frequently at conferences globally like MMSMOA, Gartner, TechEd Europe, TechEd North America, IT Dev Connections, MHeS, System Center Rallies, and Systems Management User Groups (SMUGs). Shaun has received some awards for blogging and is syndicated from www.shauncassells.com. He specializes in analysis, optimization, and design of Tactical Solutions to Strategic Business Goals. Prior to joining 1E in 2010, he worked for a Global 100 company as the Configuration Manager Service Owner and Architect. Recently as a Principle Consultant at 1E, he accomplished design, review, and improvements to a variety of Configuration Manager environments from the very small to sites with a half million seats. He provided leadership that created a patented automated application rationalization and usage based OSD mapping solution in use by multiple fortune 500 companies. These days you can find me traveling to help discover, review, and improve business productivity across the world.
