Announcing the trailblazers of this year’s DEX Awards

In today’s workplace, digital employee experience is no longer a nice to have but a must have. It’s a driver of the overall employee experience, impacting many aspects of a business, from employee recruitment and retention to organizational revenue to productivity and innovation. According to our recent DEX Report, 90% of IT-decision makers and knowledge workers feel their organization’s DEX has room for improvement.

The DEX awards recognize the individual contributors, companies, and teams that have showcased a demonstrable impact on their organization’s employee experience, making them trailblazers in the DEX industry. Our panel of judges assessed submissions based on the following categories: Best Flexible Working Solution; Best DEX Team of the Year Award; and Best Digital Employee Experience. You can view the full descriptions of each category here.

We received a high volume of entries, which made it difficult to narrow down the finalists, but we’re happy to announce the following winners:

  • Best Flexible Working Solution Winner: HCL Technologies. Many organizations were unable to quickly transition and adapt to remote working. Through the work from HCL Technologies, companies were able to deliver empathy-based offerings to protect critical business assets, safeguard workflows, and accelerate digital transformation.
  • Best DEX Team of the Year Award Winner: Cigna. Cigna’s Colleague Technology Experience team worked effortlessly to bring new ideas and solutions to allow teams to thrive. Through Cigna’s work, company leadership put a greater emphasis on DEX, created an experience-first culture, and found a way for teams to be involved at the beginning of projects vs. at the end.
  • Best Digital Employee Experience Winner: Unisys. The team was able to create simple, consistent, personalized, and inclusive experiences for employees to thrive in a hybrid world––including building a new digital workplace team focused on DEX. The team and employee experience technology allowed teams to be more productive, get the help they need for tasks, and work efficiently across distributed teams.

We want to thank all the applicants that submitted to the awards program this year and encourage them to do so again. The number of applications we received speaks to the excellence and accomplishments of many organizations and the overall growth of the DEX industry. We look forward to what’s in store for next year!
