Introduction to the CFO and COO: Iveta Cabajova

The start of a new year brings with it a sense of change and excitement, and 1E is no exception to this. We recently sat down with newly appointed CFO and CCO, Iveta, to get to know her better and discuss the future of 1E.  

Iveta brings over 15 years of experience working in the observability and cloud solutions industries. She’s also a founding member of SheSaaS, a non-profit platform for women working in the private equity software space. 

We asked Iveta what motivated her to join 1E, and what she’s most excited about.  

The DEX market  

It’s no secret, digital employee experience (DEX) is here to stay. As Gartner’s 2023 Market Guide for DEX Tools highlights, DEX strategies, tools, skills, and metrics continue to remain priorities for many organizations. 

With the benefits of providing employees with good digital experiences becoming ever clearer—improved customer experience, productivity, and employee retention to name a few—the demand for these tools is driving DEX market growth. And this is something that caught Iveta’s eye:  

“The DEX market is an incredibly exciting place to be right now” Iveta explains. “DEX has quickly become a boardroom topic, and I wanted to be a part of those discussions. I’m looking forward to what 2024 holds for the market and by extension, 1E.” 

1E’s momentum 

Not only was 2023 a big year for the DEX market, but it marked remarkable growth and innovation at 1E too. We opened the doors to our first North America HQ in Austin, launched several innovative product releases, underwent a brand refresh, and secured our position as a Leader in the Forrester EUEM Wave 

Iveta noticed 1E’s momentum over the last two years, “1E set itself apart from the competition with its autonomous IT platform, becoming the fastest growing DEX player in the market,” she says. 

The team 

One of the final reasons Iveta gives for deciding to join 1E is the team. Initially attracted by the vibrant and energetic people here at 1E, Iveta has found herself falling in love with the culture: “As I’ve met more of the team and got to know them better, it’s become clear that 1E’s values are the foundation of the company – not just something written on the website. It’s an inspiring thing to be a part of.”
