Predictions 2024: Artificial Intelligence

Transition from hype to pragmatism doesn’t mean boring AI

AI is on the fast track to becoming ubiquitous — at home, at work, and everywhere in between. OpenAI’s ChatGPT put an assistant in everyone’s back pocket. This new reality disoriented technology leaders in 2023.

“84% of AI decision-makers said their executives are ready to adopt genAI.”

AI demand went from stalled in 2022 to frenzy overnight, driving 56% of AI decision-makers to explore or experiment and to charge forward with proofs of concept, and yes — fun and games. However, enterprise AI efforts and strategies will need to get even more focused in 2024 to increase productivity, improve customer experience, and build new value.
